Fleurelaine Cattery
Welcome to our web site! We hope you enjoy a little of our history and pictures of some of our beautiful Persians.
Our first cat show was at Cat Springs, Texas. Ann Pevey put on a great show even though the show hall was quite small. Everyone was friendly and the cook out in the barn behind the show hall was great! Gene Darrah sang (as Elvis) and Ginny Wolfe played the drums! We had a great time and decided right then that we would like to be more involved. Anna Sadler was the cousin of my friend that took me to Cat Springs and Anna and I hit it off from the start. We were great friends until she died many years later.
Fleurelaine cattery was established in 1985 right after we moved from Lake Jackson, Texas to Strongsville, Ohio. We joined Cleveland Persian Society in the fall of 1985 and are now the longest standing members of the club. We also joined Valley View Cat Fanciers and are the only members left of that club. In the coming years we joined Just Cat-in Around, Anthony Wayne, Midwest Persian Tabby, Thumbs Up, and Ohio State Persian Club. We have enjoyed all the clubs and have contributed to most as President, Vice President or Secretary. We moved to Midland, Michigan in 1992 and then back to Columbus, Ohio in 2002. We have made many great friends over the years and look to having more fun and friends in the future.
